Update: Rules for Teaching and Learning at AMU 2020/21

In accordance with the Regulation No. 486/2019/2020 of the Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University of 12 August 2020, in the winter semester of the academic year 2020/2021, classes for students will be conducted in a remote form using remote learning methods and techniques. The Regulation also allows the realization of classes, in part or in whole, on-campus.

This applies especially to classes requiring access to laboratory infrastructure. Faculty Deans decide which classes will be held on-campus.

More information on the courses allowed by the deans to be offered on-campus will be placed on the faculty websites.

Conducting classes on-campus requires the enforcement of the sanitary regime, taking into account the recommendations and guidelines of the State Sanitary Inspectorate.

The realization of remote learning takes place with the use of the following information technologies:

  • Microsoft Teams (MS Teams) application for conducting classes in real time, conducting conversations in the form of video conferences and chats (MS Teams is the basic designated tool for communication during remote education),
  • Moodle platform for distribution of materials supporting remote classes, for individual and group work and exams.
