The Lane Kirkland Scholarship Programme celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
Poland hosted 900 experts from many fields of political,economic and social life. Adam Mickiewicz Unviersity in Poznań has collaborated with the Programme for 19 years and has hosted 175 Grantees from Armenia, Azerbeijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazachstan, Kyrgystan, Latvia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Russia.
A special supplement to the New Eastern Europe has been published lately to highlight the event. It contains articles of some Lane Kirkland Programme grantees who describe the social-economic situation in their countries after the political transition.
