New Regulation on University Operations from June 1, 2020

Take a look and read through the new set of regulations regarding AMU operations,

in effect from June 1st, 2020.

New Regulations in a nutshell:

  • Most students and teachers will not return on campus until September 30th
  • Keep in mind that online classes may run until July 15th
  • summer holidays shall start on 16 July and end on 31 August 2020
  • All exams including thesis/diploma exams for graduates will be conducted online, where possible
  • All other cases will be dealt with individually and with due safety protocols
  • Any practicals/labs or workshops that should be conducted can still be executed in September
  • Students in need of such additional classes may count on accommodation in the student dorms for the given period
  • Administrative staff return to office work in a shift-and-rotation sytem:  between 8 am and 2 pm there should be at least 1 employee per unit present and every employee is obliged to spend at least 10 days in the office within a month; to ensure continuous service and safety of the people, office work every other day is encouraged with a minimum social distance and personal protection maintained
  • New Rector and Vice Rectors shall be elected online at the end of June
