The faculty of Modern Greek Language and Literature, on the occasion of its 10th anniversary since its founding, is organizing an international scientific conference which aims to become a forum for discussion on Modern Greek Studies in Poland today.
The conference will be held from 16th to 18th of April 2015 at the School of Modern Languages and Literature of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland.
The main topics, around which the discussion will be held, are:
- Translation and Communication.
The conference is open to both thematic and interdisciplinary approaches.
Keynote speakers of the Conference are:
Prof. Geoffrey Horrocks (University of Cambridge)
Prof. Giorgos Papanastasiou (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Institute “Manolis Trantafyllidis”).
In the frame of the conference, a workshop on teaching Greek as foreign language (in Greek) will be held, under the title “Μαθησιακές δραστηριότητες και διδακτική των γλωσσών”. The workshop will be conducted by Prof. Panagiotis Andreou (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Institute “Manolis Trantafyllidis”).
