AMU-PIE: Short Courses
If you would like to study at AMU, you may choose either full degree programs, which are listed below (BA, MA, Ph.D.) or study for just a term or two within the frames of AMU-PIE program.
AMU-PIE (Programmes for International Exchange) is our Study Abroad Programme and Centre specially designed for visiting students who elect to come to Adam Mickiewicz University for a semester or year as part of their undergraduate degree program.

International EXCHANGE and ERASMUS students as well as GUEST students (FREE MOVERS) can choose course units taught in English and other international languages and courses of the Polish language to study either for one or two semesters.
AMU is strongly dedicated to creating high-standard educational opportunities. The University serves 51,500 students with 15 faculties offering BA/ B.Sc., MA/ M.Sc. and PhD programs. Students who know Polish can choose from over 170 majors.
All Faculties offer undergraduate three year Licentiate (B.A. or B.Sc.) programs and postgraduate two-year Master (M.A. or M.Sc.) programs.
The Faculty of Law and Administration offers the five-year Master of Laws Program open to undergraduates.
Some Faculties offer International and/or European Master Programs in cooperation with other European universities.
Students who successfully complete those programs are awarded a double (or more) degree diploma.

All Faculties, except for the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts in Kalisz, offer four-year doctoral studies (Ph.D.).
Most Faculty Councils have the right to confer the highest academic degree in Poland which is the postdoctoral degree, i.e. doctor habilitatus.
