Faculty of Fine Arts and Pedagogy – Kalisz Campus
ABOUT THE FACULTY
The city of Kalisz is located some 140 km southeast of Poznań. It is unique for studies in such disciplines as artistic education in the field of musical and visual arts, fine arts – with special focus on their purposes and activities as primarily artistic (exhibitions, vernissages, choir performances, concerts). There is also a strong teaching component to prepare future teachers moving around flexibly with the classical as well as performing arts. Teaching Musical Arts in Kalisz covers areas such as: vocal and instrumental stage performances, religious music, church organ music, choir conducting
Teaching Fine Arts entails Painting, Graphic Design, Sculpture, Ceramics, Digital imaging or General Design workshops available for students.
Apart from the arts, Kalisz Campus also offers several pedagogical degree programs, a program in heritage protection and tourism, as well as journalism and library and information science.
Both faculty and students are encouraged to present their works and talents to a wide audience and many of the artists teaching on campus are recruited from among professional musicians, painters and sculpturers, active and renown in their respective fields home and away. Campus offers opportunities to organize all kinds of art-related events, supplying exhibition rooms, rehearsal rooms, auditoriums and art studios.
All full-degree programs are currently offered only in Polish.
